We will attempt to sharpen anything. Here are the things we know we can sharpen.
Rates:
Machine Sharpening:
- Under 6 inches: $8 
 +$2 for serrated knives
- 6 Inches and over: $12 
 +$2 for serrated knives
- Folding/fixed blade knives: $16 and up 
Whetstone Sharpening:
- Japanese and Western double bevel knives: $3/in. 
 +$4 per serrated knife
- Japanese asymmetric knives: $4/in. 
- Japanese single bevel knives: $4.5/in. 
- Straight razors: $35 
Other:
- Pruners/loppers $20 
- Axes/hatchets: $20-$25 
- Mower blades: $40 
- Craft Scissors $12 
- Kitchen shears: $15-$20 
- Fabric shears: $20-$25 
- Hair Scissors $30-$35 
- Cuticle nippers: $8 
- Chisels and woodworking tools $25 - $30 
- Re-profiling/re-tipping and repairs billed at $100/hour with 5-minute minimum (assessed at handoff) 
Whetstone sharpening can include a 120 and 400-grit re-bevel, a 1000 and 3000-grit edge refinement, and a 5000, 8000, and 10000-grit hand polish with compounded leather stropping. The final finish is selected based on intended use, steel type, and style.
Scissors/Shears/Pruners are sharpened using a Wolff Industries Twice as Sharp system.
